Congrats to Kayla Beckman, she won Pro womens Longboard division at this contest in Jax " Sisters of the Sea" in Sept. She also made finals in Pro womens shortboard.

Just signed up Libby (miss Libb) Rendall she is 18 yrs old an amateur skimmer from DE. She was 2007 east coast champ and current (2008) east coast champ and is ranked fourth in the world by SKIM USA rankings. She's sponsored by Zap Skimboards and Alley Oop. Shes now totally stoked to be representing XTRAK/MAGMA.

Nick Fowler wins Anon Optics contest

Congrats to X-TRAK team rider Nick Fowler who surfed four rounds and placed first in each heat and went on to win the final and won a laptop computer at the anon optics contest.

Surf Expo - X-TRAK - RDI

X-TRAK and Magma would like to say thanks to Carl and the boys over at Rainbow Distribution for helping to make a great Surf Expo weekend. With a great location on the main isle, tons of cool product and an all star cast of surf legends including Shawn Thompson and Frieda Zamba-Shaw at he booth this years show was a grand slam and we look forward to another great show in January.

Christa Alves can’t legally drink alcohol, gamble or club in the United States, but in surfing, age has never stopped her from tearing up the ranks.

Christa Alves has won multiple East Coast and National Junior Championships as well as the 2006 ASP North American Juniors Competition, and is the 2008 ASP North America Pro Junior women's champion.

She’s very committed to her sport, as she opted for home schooling throughout high school in order to spend more time surfing. If there’s a tournament around, she’s down to be a part of it due to her love for competition.
