X-Trak is the only traction company that still makes our own pads here in the USA. No we don't just assemble parts from over seas. We design, test, experiment, cut, glue, machine, groove, psa, die cut, CNC route, package, advertise, distribute and over see the whole process. This allows us to put out new pads as often as we like without the problems of having to overstock chinese made product in huge quantities like our competitors. Plus we are able to take pride in the fact that these surf products we make are ours and the quality is the best in the world.
We've been doing a lot of experimenting lately with a more artistic approach to pad design as seen in the faces of the ICON Series and the new Shadow pads featured here. Look for us to get back to some more traditional designs as we get back into summer to round out our product line. We'd love to hear from you. Tell us what you'd like to see in a traction pad.
