Just want to say thanks to everyone who helped to make this years Surf Expo such a success. With the slow economy and general slump in the surf industry we all went to the show this year a little unsure of how things would shake out but after three days of talking to shops, distributors and customers things are looking good for 2009. This years Expo saw a lot less partying and shmoozing and a lot more real business, the way Surf Expo used to be. Perhaps the down turn in the economy has sobered us all a little bit and made us take what we do a little more seriously. In the face of this slower economy there was a general spirit of optimism and determination to get on with things. Whatever the reason thanks to all who turned out.
