Justin Ellingham grew up surfing in Melbourne Beach, FL. On Thursday April 19, 2012, Justin was surfing across the street from his home when a shark latched on to his hand. He now requires reconstructive surgery to save one of his fingers. Justin is currently a full time Ocean Engineering student at Florida Institute of Technology, paying his way through school on his own. Since Justin is uninsured, we need the support of the community to raise the funds needed to pay for the surgery. Justin recently won the NSSA Collegiate East Coast Surfing Championships on behalf of the Florida Tech surf team.
